What's a good price point for registering for fine china? Our 1st choice place setting comes in at $99 on sale at Macy's. We found another similar pattern that we think is more reasonable. Details and pictures in my bio under the "Misc" link. Just curious what you all might think. Thank you!

Have you looked at other stores? I know we went to Macys when we registered for luggage and then we went to bed bath and beyond and they had the exact same luggage for half the price! I say if you love it then put it on your registry and if no one buys it for you then you can put some of the gift cards you get towards it. I had a problem and people were calling us telling us we didn't have enough expensive stuff on our registry! LOL.

That's too funny!!! I don't think we'll have that problem. lol I guess I'm trying to be pretty price conscious since I know a bride whose registry was a little pricey and she got a lot of heat from it... I don't think my choices are too extravagant... but you never really know. Thanks for the BB&B recommendation. I saw the Mikasa patten (same price) and our luggage (same price) on there... but I'll keep checking.
