Weather in Early December?

Hi! I'm looking to get married on Dec 3rd in Lake Buena Vista, I'm searching for my dress but realized that it might be pretty cold? We're going to have a 10am wedding outside, what do you think?

In florida the coldest month is usually january really. December is chilly. I would suggest no light fabrics such as organza.  Satin will be your friend as it is heavier.  If you are getting married outdoors I would wear a long sleeve, or quarter sleeve balero and then remove it for the indoor reception.  I saw one girl on the knot had a wedding outdoors in colorado in december and had a white tailer suit jackt that matched the dress made  to wear outdoors. It was very classy and stylish looking.

My mom got married Jan. 3 in Ohio, talk about cold. She had as satin and lace dress with a white fur muff and a fox coat that was a wedding present from my dad (this is before fur wasn't in to wear, plus it was dang cold).

I would always have an option of some sort. jacket to match your dress or whatever. Florida's weather is unpredictable this year we had the coldest winter and the hottest summer so you never know. If it's cold great, use it because the last thing you want is to be shivvering and not enjoy your ceremony. However if it's just chilly, you maybe not want to wear it. Either way I'd get something just in case! oh and where are you getting married in Lake Buena Vista? I am at the Palace!

I'm getting married at the very end of Feb. (late winter/early spring) so I'm hoping to stay around the 70s, but like everyone said: florida's weather is very unpredictable. I'm getting shaws for my bridesmaids, but I love the back of my dress so much that I'll probably suck it up for our 15 minute outdoor ceremony (honestly, I'll be so excited to marry my best friend...I'm really not going to care if it's cold) and then we are having an indoor reception so I'm not too worried about it.

Thanks! I'm actually hoping to get married in WDW, at the Grand Floridian beach. Does it usually warm up by around 10-2 or does is stay chilly?

Its really hard to say.  I know for a fact I have pictures of me at Christmas time in tank tops.. and then there are some in long sleeves.  It is unlikely it will be so cold that you will be absolutely freezing.. but you may be a bit uncomfortable.  The later in the afternoon it gets, the warmer it will be.

My daughter was married in Central FL in late Nov. of 2008.  It was miserably cold for the entire weekend.  I also have had Christmas Eve dinner out on my lanai.  From mid-Nov until March it's anyone's guess what the weather will be like in Florida.

I wish we could all be of more help to you but the weather is truly a crap-shoot.

With FL you never know. Last December I was in my bikini fishing on the boat. Two Christmases ago it was warm enough to wear shorts and a tank top. I've heard predicted that this is going to be a warm winter. I'm getting married on January 1st, so I'm hoping it's a warm winter....
