Invitation & Stationary Question???

Hi fellow knotties!!

So does the person who makes your invitations also make the escort cards, dinner menus, and other paper related items? Or do you find someone else for that? Or is it customary to make them yourself? I just do not know the proper etiquette on this matter! Thank you!

(I just posted on your favor post also lol  -  you have great questions!)

I have the person who custom made my invitations, make the rest of my paper products. They are doing my menus, escort and name cards, I decided on table names versus table numbers, favor tags, and they are creating a seating chart for me as well.

I dont think there is a proper etiquette on it, but I personally didnt want to have to stress about doing them myself. She offered me such a great price on them, and she is carrying the theme out through all of the items so everything looks put together.

Who did you have that did your invitations?

No problem! I started planning mine also way before I was even engaged lol. I got excited about it, so I new the details way before. I think most girls do that. lol

Anyways, I am using Premier Butterfly Events. I found them through a friend of mine who used them for their paper products. At first I wasnt going to use them, but for the amount of invitations I needed, and the ones I found online, They were going to charge me between $600 and $800 (invites, rsvps, inserts, etc.) There is NO WAY I can afford that, and even if I could, I think that is ridiculous. I hate that as soon as you tell someone it is for a wedding the charge is hiked up to an unrealistic amount.

Im rambling now (I do that often).... when I emailed Premier Butterfly, then gave me a quote for $325 for everything on my invites. So I went with them. I decided to have them do the rest of my items also since the price was really cheap and they dont charge a printing or shipping fee.

If you are looking around for someone, the website is www.premierbutterflyevents.com. I listed a pic of the invite I had them create in case you want to see their work.

So when is your wedding planned for?
