Honeymoon in Portugal?

Booked our airline tickets for a 12 day honeymoon in Portugal (flying in and out of Lisbon), any ideas on itineraries/things to do??  Thanks!!!

     Ditto what PP about going to Sintra.  Make sure to make time to go see the Palace because some of my friends ran out of time (they enjoyed just walking around).

    As for Lisbon, I loved it.  It is a very romantic city, but a little more "rustic" compared to other cities in Western Europe.  I would recommend staying in the Alfama district since it's the oldest neighberhood (the only one that survived a big earthquake in late 18th--I think-- century) and has great views.  Also, I would be sure to check out some of the sights in Belem.

     Rick Steeves has a lot of good information in his books and special tv programs about Portugal.  Good luck!

     One more tidbit--

     The airport in Lisbon is VERY close to the city center compared to other cities.  Just a heads up so you don't get ripped off with taxi rides!
