Honeymoon in September

Any ideas about destinations for a honeymoon in September??  I'm a bit nervous about it being hurricane season, but I still want to go to an island.

    We are September honeymooners, too. We wanted to go to the Bahamas but after we realized it was hurricane season, we decided we're going to save up, fly to Greece, and rent a villa. It's got privacy, a pool, sun, and it's surprisingly affordable.
    There are rentals all over, including in the US on www.homeaway.com and also www.vrbo.com

    ARUBA.  as mentioned above, it was hit in 2007, but very rare for it to happen.  WE LOVED ARUBA!

    I am in the same boat. My FI and I are trying to plan our HM in september of next year, and we were thinking about going to either Jamaica or Aruba. With what PPs have said with it being hurricane season, we are skeptical of going. I have heard many different things, such as your less likely to get a hurricane there to Its hurricane season your crazy! We have no idea what to do...but we have to plan now, seeing as places get booked super fast.
