Excellence Playa Mujeres or Secrets Capri Riviera Cancun

Hey all! Looking for some opinions since we finally decided on Mexico (love the direct flights and we can get so much bang for our buck!) Can anyone weigh in on either or both of these resorts? We would be doing the Two Story Rooftop Terrace at Excellence or the Honeymoon Ocean Suite at Secrets.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

We're going to be on a rooftop terrace for our HM in EPM! I did A LOT of research, and from eveything I heard and read, EPM and Secrets Maroma are tied in the best All-Inclusive honeymoon resort category. Secrets Maroma has better reviews than Secrets Capri, so maybe you want to check that out. We still chose EPM beacuse of the gorgeous rooms, room service, overall hotel desing, etc.

FI and I are also doing EPM!  Can't wait!

Like maria said, EPM and Secrets Maroma are essentially "tied".  We debated the 2 and opted for Secrets Maroma on a whim and we loved it! (review and pics in bio).

From reviews I've read, if you're not interested in Secrets Maroma, I'd book EPM not Secrets Capri.
