Hi everyone! I desperately need advice! Please read! Sorry for the long post in advance
My fiancee and I are looking to honeymoon in Italy late May 2012 into June (13 nights). We have never been to italy (or anywhere in europe) and are in our late 20's. We are the type that like to keep busy (we do not enjoy just laying around all day!) I normally plan daily itineraries for all of our trips with activities for each day, that being said we do not like to feel frantic on our vacations where we feel we must stick to a schedule and are time constrained (do not like anything quick passed).
What we'd like:
We would like to fit as much sight seeing and exploration as possible while also having enough time to slow down and relax (Sight seeing during the day and relaxing at night). Slowing down and relaxing for us is eating at a gorgeous high end restaurant with great food, seeing a show or some other form of entertainment and maybe taking a slow paced night tour or something. For the first day there and last couple of days there we would like to do something low key where we can unwind.
Cities that are a must for us are Rome and Venice and possibly somewhere on the almalfi coast for unwinding at the end of the trip. We were also thinking of Florence. Any advice would be super appreciated!
