Florida Keys?

FI and I are thinking about heading to the Keys for our May honeymoon.  Problem is, neither of us have really traveled much since we were kids (minus Vegas), so we have no idea where to start.  Should we find a travel agent?  Give me some pointers to where to stay and where I should be browsing for ideas!  Thanks.....

  • Look at trip advisor you can research diffrent hotels on there. Also you can look at airfare on kayak.com. You can also go and talk to a travel agent to get some ideas but before you book with them I would look around on-line to see where you can get the best deal. Good Luick

  • I always like to book myself without a travel agent, but I feel like that's just a personal preference. Whenever I price on my own and then go to speak with a travel agent their price is either the same or more because they charge a fee.

    Good luck!

  • Definitely go on Trip Advisor and Frommer's. I always read the top 10 hotel reviews when making travel plans.
  • I stayed at a beautiful hotel in Key Largo called Marina del Mar. It was right next to a marina and we went out snorkeling on the coral reef. Beautiful!

  • I am not sure what type of honeymoon you are looking for... if you are looking for a relaxing honeymoon where you can go dining, drinking and walking around then the Keys are a great place to go... I woulnt recommend them if you are the party type that much though. Good luck!
