Secrets Maroma vs. Excellence Riviera Cancun vs. Royal Playa Del Carmen

         Well after exploring every possible option for are honeymoon and asking you all millions of questions we have narrowed it down! Five days in Disney World and five days relaxing in Riviera Maya!
        I've been looking at these three resorts, Secrets Maroma Beach, Excellence Riviera cancun and Royal Playa Del Carmen and they all look amazing and have great reviews. Secrets is the most expensive, we could stay in the most upgraded room at the other two for the price of the basic room at secrets. Is secrets really above and beyond the other resorts? Im curious how the beaches are at each resort and what fun activities and excursions are offered. Any info would be great. Also if you know of another great adults only AI please tell me about it.
          Thanks for all of you help Im sure Ill have more questions to come about Riviera Maya and Disney World!

We were looking into Excellence and Secrets, but read that Secrets has the better beach so chose that one. However, all are supposed to be amazing!

Ditto. We HMed at Secrets in October and loved it.  We had a swim-out Preferred Club room.  We actually used our swimout (I know lots of reviews of people saying they don't). And last I looked the Preferred Club was an extra $30/day.  It was nice (they have 3 computers for internet and hot appetizers in the afternoon when the other places take a break from serving food), but the trip would have been just as nice without doing the Preferred Club.
