I'm hoping one of you ladies may have some suggestions for what to do for seating for a beach ceremony. We finally found a place on the beach to have our reception. The initial idea was that we wanted to have the ceremony on the beach and then go inside for the reception. However, the problem is that apparantly the town does not allow chairs on the beach. Although they say that they will allow some chairs for the elderly, I'm told we can't have chairs for everyone. We are expecting approx 65-70 guests. I don't want my guests to have to stand around....even though they may not qualify as "elderly", I know alot of them would be VERY uncomfortable standing the whold time. Does anyone have alternative suggestions? I really wanted to get married on the beach and would only use the indoor site as an alternative if there is bad weather. If I just went ahead and put up 70 chairs anyway, is there anything the town or whoever could do anyway??? Thanks for your suggestions!
