Hi gals! I need some serious support and ideas !
The venue that I had my heart set on is out of the picture now, and I have a few new plans... I want something that totally fits my FI and I - I haven't wanted a ceremony in my church since my father passed away last year, but as I think more and more about it, I think I could do it - but then for the reception/dance, all I can think of is my FI and I's little ranch home. I'm not leaning toward this for the cost issue -- but I think of a canopy with twinkle lights, the breeze blowing, and the outdoor/rustic/country chic theme that I'm shooting for. I had at first thought of doing everything (ceremony and reception) at the house but maybe I was being too ambitious there.. Am I being realistic thinking that I can pull off a reception without a big venue?! Is it possible?! To anyone that's done it I need ideas and plans!
