Outdoor Lighting on a Budget

Our reception is in my parents backyard. I would like to stream lights between trees, but I like the bigger bulbs (not just small xmas lights) but they are pretty pricey. Does anyone know of a site or someone reselling this type of thing? I have to think there is someone who bought a ton, and has nothing to do with all of them know...I hope!

Go out and look at walmarts, Targets, etc right now and look at Xmas lights. Most places are 50-75% off for xmas decorations right now. Some places have larger lights, like Walmart. Also, you could get hanging paper lanterns and place them over the smaller xmas lights for a larger light look for cheaper. This is what I'm doing. Also, look into rope lighting for the trees themselves. And extension cordsw are super cheap now too! Good luck!

Overstock.com has some light kits 9$ mini lights that you can put in lanterns or string up 12 per pack

Go to Walmart RIGHT THIS SECOND!

20 ft of 100 lights = $0.67 right now (75% clearance) I've been waiting for months to hit up the Christmas clearance for these!

I've been wondering this also. I went right after Christmas to our local Walmart/Kmart/Dollar Store, but everyone was sold out on lights already. I would like to get the bigger bulbed ones, but haven't found too many of them online. Does anyone know of any other websites that have them?

I've heard Big Lots stocks them closer to spring for under $10 a strand. I'm crossing my fingers I find some, too!
