Outdoor Weddings

My wedding bouquet.

I am having a camo themed outdoor wedding. I am having a hard time picking out my bouquet flowers. I am looking for the fall colors. And the grooms men are wearing Fall camoflague shirts with Tan pants. And the girls are wearing a green dress with a chocolate brown sash and I am wearing a white dress with camoflague sash. I am just having a hard time finding flowers to go with everyone.

Re: My wedding bouquet.

  • How about green and white flowers.  Mostly white with some greenery.  Not only will this match but also won't be very expensive because of using greenery and just white.

  • I also think that you can't go wrong with white flowers... and maybe you could put some camo fabric around the stems to tie it all in?

  • Add in some orange or yellow to add color.  After all, hunters use orange!  Another idea would be to add a pheasant feather or two!
  •  I was in A.C. Moore and they had these crazy flowers (silk) that looked like they had oak leafs coming out of them as well as flower petals. As a matter of fact it was a premade bouquet they have on display for sale. Im thinking it was 39.99
It was very pretty. It is at the A.C. Moore in Roanoke Virginia. Give them a call and have them send you a picture of it. It would be perfect!   I asked about that strange flower in it, and I cant remember what she called it.. something like a fall daisy and she said it was seasonal to the fall flowers and was not in stock but could probably order it. Check it out!
  • Pick a third color to pop against the greens and browns.  As PP said Orange is a good choice.  Burgundy came to my mind instantly.

  • I agree, use white, greenery and a third color to stand out. I'd go with orange, yellow or even maybe a blue! Like a peacock blue... Otherwise everything would look like it matches too much. You want to make your theme stand out, not blend in. Good luck!
  • I saw a perfect bouquet on this site for you.  It had greens with some pretty brown accent pods (?) not sure what they were.  Search green bouquets and you will find it.

  • Besides green in leaves, several flowers have a lot of green in them.  You can get a whilte hydrangea with a lot of green in it.  Adding natural elements like seed pods in brown, along with white flowers would make a gorgeous camo look.
