Outdoor Sound/chairs

I am having an outdoor wedding on a golf course. What can we do about sound? And should we rent chairs for the ceremony

Re: Outdoor Sound/chairs

  • Yes, you'll have to have chairs. It is rude to expect people to stand for any length of time for a ceremony.   I would talk to the venue and see what they normally do for sound.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • Chairs are a must. I am also getting married outside. My dj can bring portable equipment to the ceremony for music or we were looking into a guitarist or I know some people even use an iPod connected to a iPod dock/speakers.
  • Our officiant is bringing his own sound equipment and I think another person to run the music for the ceremony (for an extra fee, of course). We'll have to have cords running across the lawn to get power, but the wedding is casual enough I'm not worried about it.
