We are having an outdoor ceremony at a winery overlooking Lake Erie. A girlfriend of mine is going to perform (singing and playing guitar) prior to and during the ceremony - she is amazing, kind of a Sarah Harmer/Sarah McLachlan style of music.
I am going to tell her to play whatever she wants for the prelude, but for the processional I have my heart set on having her sing "Time After Time" (Cyndi Lauper cover) as we all walk down the aisle (including me)....Eva Cassidy does a beautiful cover of the song, I would love it if my friend could do something similar. I'm meeting with her next week.
What do you gals think? Too cheesy?
