I haven't posted in a long time, but I need to vent!
Our wedding is in three days and there are fires all over the state of New Mexico and people are freaking out. There are fires in Los Alamos and a small one near our venue. People are backing out of coming to the wedding right and left. Last week I had to increase the guest list, as there were some last minute “additions” of some guests. My dad went up to the park last night and there was NO smoke up there. The rangers have told us that it has been more smoky in Santa Fe than up in the mountains. We did try to find a new venue when the Los Alamos fire started, but it is just too late. I was prepared for the chance of rain, it has rained on this weekend for the past three years. I was not prepared for the forests burning down around use. I am trying hard to keep it together, but I really just want to sit down and cry.
