So one of the biggest factors that I was checking for when considering a honeymoon location wasSCOURING trip advisor to make sure no one reported bed bugs at the hotels I was considering.
this seriously, altered all of our initial plans on honeymoon destinations! when I first started the process, I was fairly certain I wanted to go to Sandals in St. Lucia (La Toc Regency) but after checking trip advisor, there were multiple reports of bed bugs as early as January 2011...which for me, put that right off the table.
I am finally happy that we chose to go with the Cove in Atlantis, which is much much different than Sandals, and not "all-inclusive" but, I won't worry so much, and I'll be able to sleep at night...
....though of course I'm going to inspect the room the minute we get there, just top be sure!
anyone else research this issue before making your honeymoon plans? This has become such a big problem these days...
