I just realized that my invites and STDs were a waste of money
I am here wallowing in misery from my cold so I decided to look at a few planning bios.Some of you girls are just so crafty and amazing! Doing your own invites and everything! Here I am paying $686.00 for 50 invitations that people will either throw away or lose or not even care about. The Stds cost us $166.00 for 25 of them, again money wasted on something that people will forget or not care about. Fi doesnt care about it but it bugs the hell out of me that we spent so much money on pretty paper and ribbons....Thanks for letting me vent..

Aw, dont worry. You should not feel stupid at all, you just saved yourself a very time consuming project. As long as you are happy with the design you chose and you like them, that's what counts. I made my own, but only because i was very picky about what I wanted.

You still have time for other DIY projects like your programs and menus.

Yes!! Having done my own STDs and invites, you saved yourself lots and lots and lots of time. Time is so precious. Enjoy that extra time not spent on DIY invites and STDs. You're not stupid!

Oh girl don't feel stupid. Like everyone said, you've saves yourself so much time. I already designed my invitations and printed everything, and I try to assemble about five a week, because it is sooo time consuming.

oh no! listen girl, its already done, you cant turn back. So just enjoy them! dont think about the money wasted. It truly isn't money wasted if you think about time to spend going to stores to find the right supplies, etc... so put that frown upside down LOL

Nooo.. dont feel bad. You are doing the right thing! It is so much less stressful to have someone do them for you. I ordered my poket invites thinking I will do the invites myself but I will be ordering the invite and cards to go in it. I tried to think about doing it myself but just dont want to deal with it. I am sure your invites are beautiful, don't stress.
