Tape for DIY invites

Amy (aitirone) cant access the knot at the moment, but she emailed me asking me to post for her ... what kind of double-sided tape is used to secure your invites to the pocketfold? TIA!

Tell her it's like this tape that rolls out and almost looks like a white out roll. Super sticky stuff. Right by the scrap booking stuff.

Tell her hello for me!There are glue dots, but I liked Beacon's 3 in 1 glue (at Joanns).  It is scrapbookers choice supposedly for glue.  It doesn't make seams or bunches and holds like crazy.The plus, is that it an be used for a variety of projects. I put my rhinestones on the soles of my shoes with it.  Those things aren't going anywhere

the dots are A PITA because they get stuck on everything and depending no how thin the paper is leaves a bump.

We used the same double-sided tape Octoberbride is referring to for my bridal shower invites.  I had a lot of problems with glue dots.  They were a huge PIA.

I am a glue dots fan. I closed my belly band with them and found them quick and easy. Got them from office depot.

extra hold glue stick... i didn't like the idea at first but it works wonders, we even glued ribbon with it.
