Rusty Pelican can accommodate that. We had ours in the lower lounge, which is semi-private, and had a beautiful wedding without the high ballroom prices upstairs. It includes the bar, cake and linens. You can do simple non-floral centerpieces and keep it affordable.

DOS your comment is completely uncalled for. I know someone in a very similar situation and they were able to do a very nice intimate event for probably that amount or less. With that snobby attitude dos your career will not go to far!

Get a life, Dos. I've got a 5-6k budget for everything. It. Can. Be. Done. You just need to research, negotiate, and cut where it's not necessary. What's improtant to one person, is crap to another. And I agree w/ pp. Their most important DAY is the birth of their child, you idiot.

Try the Miami Beach Botanical Gardens.  Their prices are favorable, although November is a busy month for them because of all the art fairs events.

Maybe contact Fetes and Events? They do all inclusive weddings at some beautiful locations!! Good luck!

Not sure how far they want to travel, but I'm having my ceremony and reception at the Dove Creek Lodge in Key Largo, and my budget is 9k. We're having our wedding on a Thursday night to save even more money. The ceremony (everything set up) and a cake is $500, during the week. The reception prices per person were $45-65, and you bring your own alcohol. Hope it helps!! They can have a great wedding for that amount of money!

I HIGHLY recommend Rusty Pelican also. It's GORGEOUS and they can definitely accomodate that budget. You can have lunch or dinner (spectacular style) for about $4000-5,000 including gratuity and open bar... and cake, linens, chairs.GO FOR IT! Plan it for him :)But tell them to book now now now... so many people after that beachy spectacular Miami skyline of a venue. It books fast. Trust me, I know. I missed out and had to book elsewhere

Thanks Knotties! I know it can be done..and elegantly.   MyHollywoodNights.com? Sounds like a porn to me... I can't believe a vendor had the NERVE to answer here! Ugh!!

Ignoring the above negativity.  We all know it can be done. The only places I'd add to the above mentioned, are Country Clubs.  I know the Miami Springs Country Clus has prices that you can make work.  And there might be others.  HTH

He can look into JI, they had packages and specials for around $50pp. They can also consider using the prime card for the 20% off.
