Cruise or Resort?

We are getting married in July & need to book our honeymoon ASAP. I have traveled very little & I am wondering which is better.. cruise or resort?? We don't want to spend tooo much so I'm thinking you get the most for your money on a cruise butt.. I also feel that staying at a resort will be more romantic for a honeymoon.. Any suggestions?

It depends on what you are looking for.  On a cruise you get all of your meals, entertainment on the ship, etc. included with your price.  You get to see many different locals and get a taste of each.  You are on the boat a lot of the time. 
At a resort, if you get an AI, you get all your food and meals as well.  Up side is that you get to stay in one place and relax.  But if you want to see a lot of different places, then a cruise is better.
Both would be great for a HM, so just decide what's most important to you!

I've done both the AI resort and gone on cruises. I'm impartial because I love both! FI prefers staying at a resort because cruises are so crowded and he doesn't feel like that you really get to experience a place by just stopping there for 6-8 hours.

For a HM though, I would go with the AI resort instead of a cruise. It'll be more secluded and romantic, plus you'll have all of your meals and drinks taken care of. On a cruise your meals are taken care of but not your drinks or shore excursions.

Basically, your deciding factor should be what you're looking for. If you guys are looking for relaxation go for the resort, if you're looking for adventure and would love to see a bunch of different places go for the cruise.
