Oh how exciting! Yay! I tried posting this from my iphone & it didnt go through for some reason....ugh! Anyway, here goes: 1. First Name & FI's First name and wedding date? -Danielle & Joe - 7/9/10 2. Where did you go to college? N/A - School of Hard Knockes for me. - 3. What part of the world do you live in? -We live in Plantation, FL 4. How did you and FI Meet? -We met on Match.com - he winked at me. 5. How long have you been together? -This past August was 4 years. Boy time really does fly! 6. Do you live together? Why or why not? -Yes, we live togehter. We couldnt stand being apart. He would leave my house and I'd miss him too much and vice versa (I know how corney). Plus, we save dinero this way. 7. How did FI propose? -It started at work on a Wednesday in June. He sent me a dozen roses and the card read "just because". Then on Thursday, he sent me a beautiful box of choco covered strawberries (YUM). Then Thursday at midnight (so technically Friday morning) he came home from work & handed me 3 long stem roses. All week he had been telling me that we were going to "visit" his brother on the West Coast. Well come Friday after work, we packed our bags and he said "change of plans". He made reservations at the China Grill. We had a delicious dinner and then afterwards the matre'd asked us to step outside on the marina/dock where they had set up a desserts & cristol and flowers. We were all alone out there. It was great, the sun was just setting and the rest is history. Then he surprised me with a suite at the Hilton right next door and he had rose petals all over the room & with champagne and strawberries. It was waaaaay more than I ever expected. I love him! 8. How long of an engagement are you having/did you have? Why? -We were engaged in June of this year and will be married in July of next year. Im impatient. LOL 9. Favorite wedding vendor so far? -My photographer, Amber, by far. She is super duper sweet & we are more like long lost BFF's then anything else. 10. Biggest piece of wedding advice you can share so far? -Hmmmm...I would say dont allow trends and other people's wedding's to dictate what your wedding "should" be like. Everyone is different, has a different budget, tastes, likes, dislikes, etc. Even the smallest of weddings will be special because the two of you are marrying each other. 11. What do you do for a career? What does FI do? -I am a legal assisant and Joe is a boat captain and pro fisherman. 12. Do you think you could be/will ever be a stay at home mama? -Yes, I do. However, Joe can also see himself as a stay at home Daddy so we will see what happens. 13. Do you want children? Any potential names yet? -I want at least one but two at the most! No names just yet. 14. Do you have any pets? Names? -We have a bulldog named Abby. 15. Do you have any siblings? -4 sisters - yup 5 girls. Heather, Me, Jenny, Megan & Sammi. My Dad also just recently adopted two little girls who's names happen to also be Jenny and Megan. (Bizare) 16. What is your favorite food? -OMG, my weakness is Italian food all the way. I might as well just take the pasta to my butt! 17. What is your favorite movie? -I have a few, GREASE, DIRTY DANCING & PRETTY WOMAN. 18. What is your favorite drink? (Alcohol and Non-Alcohol) -Iced Tea and anything w/Vodka in it. No particular order. 19. What is the hardest part of wedding plans for you? -Choosing a florist by far was the hardest.. Im sooo glad to have that check under my belt and tucked far away. 20. Where are you honeymooning? -We want to do an Alaskan cruise. Yay for cold weather. 21. What is the best thing you learned on The Knot? -OMG, everything! Photobooths, that I want video & Gil Sosa! 22. What's one city you would love to live in for a year? -NYC baby! Miss it, Love it! 23. What do you love most about your FI? 24. If you have an extra $5000 to put towards your wedding only, what would you spend it on? -Does honeymoon count? If so, that! 25. What is one silly thing about you? -Hmmmm, that's a tough one. Im pretty darn sarcastic. 26. What Knottie wedding would you love to attend? -Cinthia, Alissa, everyone's. Ok, Im coming! 27. What is something you learned from The Knot that you never heard of prior? -EVERYTHING - charvari chairs, ice cream bars, photobooths and what PSA means & that STD's arent what you would think they are. 28. What other Knottie boards do you visit? -I dont venture away from this board too much because everyone here rocks but I have lurked on the DIY board. 29. Describe yourself in 3 words. -Sarcastic, Trustworthy & Reliable. 30. What else do you want to share?? -Everyone has been so awesome and great! I couldnt imagine not having a resource like this board while planning my wedding. I love coming home and logging on to see how everyone's wedding plans are coming along and also sharing mine. Ooops, I forgot an important one: 23. What do you love most about your FI? -I love his humor. He can always seem to make me laugh no matter what. He would do anything for me, he is very considerate, loving & has a huge heart, especially when it comes to children (he's a sap)
