* Court & anyone w/Jillian Michaels*

Hey, so is this like an amazing workout?? Ridiculously good? Do you need equipment at home? I want to look into this if she's really that good. If she is, she'd probably shock my body to hell and get me out of this plateau

    omg DO IT!!!! it's, by far, the best workout I've ever had from a video. It's amazing. All you need is two hand weights (SO cheap from Target) - good luck!!!

    Like Court says, just hand weights. I like it, but I prefer the gym - more room to work out and lots of different weights. But its perfect if you don't want to invest a huge amount of time. :) Where do you live? By Westbury?

    I am going to try the onDemand ones, tonight. Now that I wrote it I HAVE to do it right? Tess, I wasn't too impressed with the Jillian Michaels for Wii. It seems to have trouble recognize what I am doing, maybe it is just me. Like it is always telling me I am doing it wrong although I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. I like the EA active one much better.

    K, Cool! I'll see if it's on demand... if not, I'll pick it up at Target with some weights. This will only be for days that I can't drive to the gym after class.Danielle, I live near Valley Stream - near north conduit blends into Sunrise Highway. Do you know where that is?

    And I go to the gym out in Lake Success.  We hang near Westbury and Hicksville almost every weekend

    I love the jillian michaels shred video!  It's a good workout.  I did the on demand 30 day program, that includes the shred vids and other jillian michaels workouts. I got to the "No more Trouble Zones" and omg, did it kick my butt! I couldnt even get thru 20 mins(it was an hour)....it sort of made me fall off for a few days, but I'm getting back on it tonight!

    So some you have to pay for, and some you don't?

    Between all the Jillian Michaels videos (30Day Shred, No More Trouble Zones, and Banish Fat Boost Metabolism) and Spinning on opposite days, I've been able to lose 15 pds! This is HUGE for me since I always used to try to workout and nothing would happen. So I'm pretty obsessed with Jillian Michaels and totally recommend her to everyone :)  Her workouts are "no joke"! I started with the 30 Day Shred and once I was able to get through Level 3, I graduated to her longer videos. The workouts in her book are also tough, but it's easier for me to pop in a video when I get home from work versus going to the gym or whatever.

    Thanks for your advice. Eh, I'm doubtful on her workouts being that hardcore.I like to talk crap and then be really surprised by the effectiveness of the workouts. I had been spinning with a hardcore spinning instructor for about 2 years. When I moved out of Miami, I realized that no one was ever able to compare to her.I have really high hopes for Jillian.  I just found out she's ondemand. So, I will see what she's about tonight.I won't replace her with the gym b/c for me, I need to get out of the house and into the gym... but I will try and keep you posted.Thanks for the feedback. I'd love to rave about a 15lb weight loss in my very near future : D

    I think the Shred 3 is not on On Demand, but the other two are on there for free if you have that channel.  I've heard Shred 2 is the most challenging of the Shred ones anyways, but I haven't done it yet.As for hardcore, try No More Trouble Zones!  Boost Metabolism might be challenging too, but I haven't tried it yet.
