I just got off the phone with my dad. The doctors did a procedure today where they drilled a hole in his head to relieve pressure and to help the brain to heel and the swelling to go down better. Then they put him in a drug induced coma, and will try waking him in about 5 days or so. I pray and keep my fingers crossed he wakes up and can start to heel from this. He also has brain movement the doctors said b/c he's twitching and gagged today when they did the procedure which is a good thing. FI said he could wake up and not remember anything and who my sister is and his daughter and everything. ::scared:: b/c it seems like a scary feeling if that happens, but its better than him not surviving. I really wish I can go see them, but its hard for me too since I am not in the states at the moment. That's the latest, and figured I would update you ladies. Thank you x's a trillion times for all the vibes and prayers and keep them coming.

Wow..sounds like there's mixed news, but definitely good that there's brain activity. He'll be in my prayers.

You and your family are in my thoughts! Here's to a speedy recovery. My friend's friend's boyfriend was in a horrible motorcycle accident. He was at JMH for months, coma, they didnt know if he was going to pull out of it. Today he is walking around and back to normal. I have faith that your BIL will do the same!

AVMN10-Yes its hard especially since Im out of the country, if I was home I would of gone up with my dad. But I sure she knows Im there in spirit.Alissa- thanks hun! Def. trying to keep my head up. Tears came last night thinking about it and wondering why does this happen. Jaime its ok about the other post. I dont mind it.
