Is this ok for a mother/son dance?

Let me give you guys the back story.  Originally I didnt want to do any of the daughter/son dances because I thought they were cheesy and FI and I dont want to take too much time away from the party. However, my sister pointed out that my dad would be hurt and offended if I didnt do the father/daughter dance.  I thought about it and realized she is right.  Although I am not into cheesy sentimental stuff, my dad definitely is, and I wouldnt want to hurt his feelings. So I chose "The way you look tonight" as our song, since it reminds me of one of my favorite movies Father of the Bride. So this leaves us at FI and his mom. We thought of maybe doing both dances at the same time, but my question is, would this song work? Or should we pick a different one??

IMO, I know you're not all about the father/daughter dance but since your dad is I wouldn't do it at the same time with FI and his mom. Let your dad have his time with just YOU. It would mean more to him I'm sure. Also, if he is sentimental he may be a bit offended that you would share that moment.

I agree, do them seperately.  The DJ can always fade out the music so you aren't dancing for 4 minutes.  But I think the song choice is great! GL!
