Can Ring Boy have NO pillow?

I bought the ring dish on Etsy that has our name & wedding date on it. I'd hate to lose it at our wedding so I'd rather not have him carry it at church. Can he walk in without a pillow or should I just have him carry the little dish?

I think he can walk in without a pillow. I like the Here Comes the Bride signs, I am not sure if you can get one before your wedding though. Wow you are so close.

I bought the same dish and was planning on having my ringboy carry it in and once he's done, hand it to his mom (which is my cousin) and she'll give it to me afterwards so I can put it somewhere safe. Maybe you can have one of your BM's or family members in charge of keeping it safe afterwards.

I'm doing the same thing! (And praying he doesn't drop it b/c it wasn't cheap!) But if you don't want him to walk in with it, I think it would be ok...maybe have him hold the flower girl's hand so it looks like he's escorting her down the aisle

I am having my florist make a pillow of roses for the ring boy to carry. Its an option ...

Our RB didn't carry a pillow... We also bought the ring dish and were planning on him holding it, but he ended up walking down with the two flower girls and they are all holding hands. lol. So, in the end neither was necessary !
