Every single time I log onto FB I see nothing but mafia wars, farmville, yoville and other weird azz shyt. Like pages worth. How the hell do you disable it so you dont see that a baby hen wandered into some corn field and that someone needs a life pack in mafia wars? please help me from freaking out on my friends and tell me how to disable these notifications. thank you!!!! ;)

I feel your pain! On the top left of where they have that info you can click on it and it drops down with options to close those apps. I have done it becasue I am tired of it. The box isnt there normally but when you run the mouse over it, youll see that box. Hope that helps!

There is wedding book on FB but its not a game...its so cool though bc it links up to your registries. I think its connected to TK in some way but not like the boards or anything. Those games are truly annoying!!

LMAO! There is definitely a way to block all that stuff.I've been avoiding Farmville etc like crazy because I thought it looked dumb and I could tell it was addicting (we all know I don't need somethign else taking up all my time) but guess who finally gave in today? Yup. I tried farmville. Not sure I get it. BUT I do like Cafeworld. Yeah, I've officially crossed over to the other side.

Can you girls be my neighbor? LOL FV users: the annoying posts can easily be avoided by hitting "cancel" instead of "post" whenever you get the pop up that its going to announce you "saved a cow". Some advice to keep your friends from getting annoyed.

You are not a re re. LMAO. You plow, plant, wait for he crop to grow then harvest. You make money little by little and you can buy stuff or your friends can send you gifts. I like farmTown better. Its not as pretty, but it gives you more options to make money and make your farm bigger.

The minute facebook started posting those things to my news feed I hunted down a way to remove them asap. Its essentially like junk mail, pretty unnecessary. Unfortunately my entire extended family is on facebook and they seem to think the world of every game/app on facebook (i can't slam em all, I love Scrabulous!) and they play/invite me ALL THE TIME. Arrrrgh!!

i remember back when i was in college, and only like 50 schools across the country were allowed on FB, and i used to drunk-poke ppl like crazy at 4 am, and there were no annoying apps, it was fun just the way it was looking at ppl's 'so-and-so updated her profile' or 'added new pictures'it's crazy how much it has evolved
