I'm using Paella Party. The food is amazing and the prices are outstanding. You just have to have a lot of patience because their customer service isn't the best- it's a pain in the butt to get a hold of them and schedule an appointment, but otherwise I have no complaints.

I recommend A Matter of Taste. They can customize packages for you to include just about anything you would need/want for a wedding. The most expensive package I reviewed with them was $100/pp, but literally covered every single little thing. If all you need is food, drinks, and service, it would be much less that $100/pp. And Grisel is a sweetheart to work with.

gatorgirl! I'm so glad that you posted, because we are planning to get married in Islamorada, and I got the idea of possibly paying the travel fees for someone from Miami from you. I wanted to ask you who you were going with, but I'm not good at using theknot, and couldn't figure out how to send you a personal message! We will definitely look at Paella Party! Any other Islamorada tips you've got are more than welcome (you can PM me, if you know how!). We're thinking of Chesapeake Beach Resort.

I'm not good at using the knot site either. =)

If you want, you can email me.

I've got a few tips here and there. I am bringing in most of my vendors from Miami because I find that thanks to the market down there a lot of them overcharge.

I never looked at Chesapeake but I hear it's a really beautiful place.

I would contact Ink and Drink Event Services they can recommend a caterer and they also staff bartenders for receptions. Good luck!
