Food tasting tonight..

We had our food tasting tonight at Parkland country club and I was sooo impressed with the food!
The two main dishes we're having at the buffet is chicken and fish and honestly, I was planning on eating fish at the wedding because chicken is chicken and usually its kind of "ehh" and often dried out.
The fish was really good and they made us a sample of the grilled veggies with balsamic viniagrette, also good .. ... but then came the chicken, which is an apple, brie, and toasted pecan stuffed chicken with a cognac sauce.... Holy cow I wanted to lick that plate clean!!!!
Everything was great but seriously the chicken caught me off gaurd. So needless to say, I'm not worried that anybody won't like the food :)

    I'm so glad your food came out great!!! I can't wait to do my tasting. The venue said it won't be until 3 months before the wedding. I was under the impression that I got to do it at the 6 month mark. I heard from a friend that is also getting married at my venue, that their tasting was bad. So I'm really anxious to see how it's going to come out.

    OMG, can I crash your reception just to try the chicken?!?! It sounds AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thats so good!! I was thinking aboutpossibly having my reception there so it's nice to hear that the food is sooo good! Congrats!!

    lol Lynette... if you're gonna crash for anything .. it should be for the fried mac-n-cheese appetizers were having at the cocktail hour :)
