Build Your Own Wedding Brides

Hey ladies,

I was wondering, those who are going through an outside caterer, if you can help me with the following questions:

* Are you letting them do the bar?
* Are they charging for glassware?
* What are the average price per plates?
* Are they doing 4 or 6 piece hors d'oeurves?

I need help!!

I'm using Paella Tropical as well. As PP said, you can see their prices on their website. We're having 4 appetizers pp, though they recommend 5. They have a package in which you get tables, chairs, silverware, plates and glassware all for one price....though we're not using them for the bar, so I'm not sure if you were wondering about glassware as related to the bar? We're just getting water glasses and champagne glasses included in the price from them.

I don't remember the company name of the caterers we have in mind because my planners have that but I do remember this answers... obviously this is all if we go with a venue which is not all inclusive

    * Are you letting them do the bar? Yes, they will be doing the bar, but we are providing the alcohol
    * Are they charging for glassware? it's included in the per person price
    * What are the average price per plates? I don't remember this, whoops!
    * Are they doing 4 or 6 piece hors d'oeurves? I believe it's 6!

HTH... what location are you looking into?

Honestly, the already built packages are too expensive for us.  My planner is trying to create their "wedding package" and I was told to get GLASSWARE its an extra charge.  That typically plastic is used at the bars.

    * Are you letting them do the bar? Yes they will have all the equipment, bar stand, ice, coolers and bar tender.
    * Are they charging for glassware? yes, I think at the bar we would have some plastic cups, but the tables will have glassware
    * What are the average price per plates? The actual food itself is about $19 pp
    * Are they doing 4 or 6 piece hors d'oeurves? I am doing a cheese/fruit/ham station with crackers and bread that they can dig in before the meal

hahaha remember that's $19 for the meal ONLY, that includes, dinner rolls, salad, the appetizer cheese, fruits, ham and crackers. We are having churrasco with tarragon rice, green beans, shrimp ceviche in a mango/lime sauce (yummy), three cheese lil' thingies there I forgot lol, oh and steak style tomatoes with cheese and basil. That price doesn't include drinks, glassware, servers, equipment. With everything plus tax, shipping fees, service and what not it comes out to about $40 pp, which is not bad I guess lol
