Westin Colonnade, Coral Gables, FL

So I got engaged only 3 weeks ago (woo hoo, super exciting!) and have started to plan my wedding. I look to get married in July of next year and right now I'm focusing on finding the right venue. I am REALLY interested in the Westin Colonnade in Coral Gables and I have a meeting with them this week but I was wondering if ANYONE has any advice about negotiating or anything else that has to do with this venue? I'm clearly very new to this whole thing and any little piece of advice is suuuuper appreciated! Thank you!

    Congrats on your recent engagement!  I am getting married at the Colonnade.  The Colonnade is more of an event hotel than a hotel for guests.  They are pros at weddings.  I signed my contract with someone else (they have new staff there), so I don't have any tips on negotiating with them, but the new staff there is great!  Good luck and let us know how it goes.
