I've been wanting to do the Tears of Joy packets for some time now. However, I'm just getting around to it now. I did my first one the other night so I thought I would share.

    They came out so cute!
    I showed my mom mine and she said I was weird and she had never heard of them, then she said I should make one for everyone and I was like I dont think so. I said lets see how strange I am as you take them all because you are hysterical!

    Haha! I'm only making 50. I figure the guys won't be using them. Then I figure I will have them together with my 50 bubbles and programs on the opposite seat. If you're late, you're late and you don't get one. Too bad. I know 50 is little. I might change my mind. Haha.

    I started with 20.. now I am going to do 30, and plan on around 70 people.. So I think you are fine. I dont think any of the guys will take them.

    My tears of joy packets were one of my favorite DIY projects. I think they are so cute! But my mom thinks I'm a dork. :)

    They are super easy. Order glassine envelopes (I got 50 on ebay for $3.25). Get the pocket packets of tissues and put a few in each envelope. Wrap with a ribbon and seal with a sticker or card of some sort. I have seen them done with business cards (free from Vistaprint!) but I ordered round stickers from zazzle.com that say "For the tears that may be shed as our wedding vows are said."
