Bahamas weekend cruise.

I think something like this may have been posted a while ago but I don't remember.
Has anyone done the weekend cruise to the Bahamas out of Miami? I was thinking about it for my bachelotte party in fl.. Thought it could be a cute idea.. this is the one I am looking at.

That would be so much fun for a bachelorette party! At this point, I don't even know if my uninvolved BM's are planning one for me Undecided

ok... I've done it twice for two friends also plan on doing this!!! it really is a lot of fun!

Personally, I would go on Carnival (I like RCCL more) simply because the ship stays over night in the Bahamas so you can go party at the club in Atlantis. That's what we always do... get dressed pretty, have dinner on the ship and then head to Atlantis to party until super late bc the ship leaves early in the AM on Sunday. Sunday is on the ship BUT it's fun staying by the pool, tanning, drinking and talking.

RCCL leaves the Bahamas early so you can do Senor Frogs though... I TOTALLY recommend it! Also, it's easier for girls to book when they can and all that jazz and with a lot of girls, it becomes easier to confine them all to one area instead spread all out around a city lol!

    HTH! DO IT!!!!

p.s. I want to do the Carnival Thursday to Monday cruise that goes to Key West and Cozumel.... 12/8/11... totally looked into it already and have told my girls this is what I would like to do lol

In my PP, I meant to say that I like RCCL better but would go on Carnival for my Bach party.

I agree with op. I would do carnival instead. I did RC for my bparty and it left the Bahamas too early. Gl

I have been on that cruise twice, and I think it is a fantastic idea for a bachelorette party.  Actually, there was a bachelor party on the last one.

It's definitely not the biggest and best ship (it's a little dated and doesn't have as much to do as other ships), but with a bunch of friends, you will definitely have fun.  It has all of the cruise ship basics - pool, gym, spa, dance club, bars, shows, etc. - so you will have stuff to do.

Let me know if you have any specific questions!

Thank you all so much! You guys are awesome. I threw the idea out to my MOH to see what she thinks, one of my friends suggested it last night. I will look into the Carnival one also :)

My girls planned a cruise for my bachlorette party! They went with Norweign because the price was great! $220 for an inside cabin with all charges included. We are doing Friday to Monday in February
