hello everyone im bri im located in the ft.lauderdale area and im due to marry the man of my dreams august 20th 2011....
he proposed dec 19th 2010 and things have been hectic since then..but we are hopeing to put our deposit down for our reception hall next weekend

does any one know when the "save the date" cards go out???

im looking to make new friends here...congrats to you all

    congrats, welcome, and happy planning!!!!
    I'd send the STDs (Save-the-dates) out as soon as possible. You only have 6 months until the wedding, so now is def a good time to send them out.

    Welcome and happy planning. I'd send those STDs out as soon as possible. I sent mine out 8 months before the wedding.

    Congrats and welcome to the board!  I think most girls send them out 6-8 months ahead of time, so as soon as you get a chance.

    welcome and happy planning! I would send the save the dates out now since the invites usually go out at the 2 month mark and if you have any out of town guests this will help them with flights and hotels.
