As for favors, we wanted to take the donation route and donate to the Alzheimers Association since this is something both of our grandmothers are experiencing its early stages.
We did Moo cards with our picture on it and in the back added a message about the donation. We wanted to attach it somehow to the purple Alzheimers assoc. band but we're stuck between these two ways:
1. Putting the band inside a small beige organza pouch (which i totally copied Alyssa idea, lol ) and attaching the Moo card to the outside?
OR
2. Tying the Moo card to the purple band by using a dark brown raffia bow like in the picture
I feel like if I don't put the band in some kind of pouch, that it might clash with the colors of the linens and chargers. Do you think people would really notice?
If I could save $ by not buying the pouches that would be awesome, but I don't want the table to look tacky either so I'm stuck like chuck.
Fyi -- my linens are going to be ivory, flowers & votives are white and chairs will be in mahogany.
What would you do?
