Finally a big check!

So I have been having issues with florists...I had one I was going to use, and then she dropped off the face of the earth and I never heard from her again. Thankfully, I was still trying to arrange a meeting with her to give her a deposit, so she didn't get away with any of my money! Yesterday FI and I met with a florist who gave me two big bits of good news: He said he WILL get me peonies! (Apparently my wedding is right on the cusp of peony season and most florists are saying they will be too hard to get) and he is TOTALLY affordable! So, I am on cloud 9 right now!! Yay, now I can breathe and enjoy a date night tonight! :) Thanks for letting me share!

    CONGRATS!!  ohhh i want peonies SO badly!!  i hope i can get them :(  my wedding is feb!!  I havemy first florist meeting on march 10... which florist are you going w/?  And which one could you NOT get ahold of!?  Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

    I went with Heaven & Earth Florals in WPB (Summit & Military). They were actually recommended by TK. I was pleasantly surprised by the pricing (especially since I made the plunge for peonies for both me and my BMs) and the owner, Vince, was really nice to work with. I obviously don't have my flowers yet so I can't post a review of that, but the arrangements they had prepared for Valentine's Day were beautiful. They are acutally used by Teleflora.

    I was going to use Blooming Events in Palm Beach Gardens. A friend recommended her, but she only does it part time so I guess that was sign number one it was doomed! Oh well, all is set and I'm happy now! Melissa, you may have troubles with a Feb wedding and peonies, I am getting crap from every florist and wholesaler about getting them in March, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

    Thanks for the info Desiree!!  I will make sure i look into Heaven & Earth... ughhh I was afraid of that w/ peonies :(:(  boo... i'll let you know how it goes... first florist appt is w/ Rose with Dream Makers (in Boynton).
