definite "no play" songs for your wedding?  Our DJ told us to list the songs we definitely don't want played and I know we have some but it's hard when you have to actually think of them, i feel like I'm forgetting some!

ohhh... my no goes are the Chicken dance, electric slide, ymca, cha cha slide, anything Lady Gaga, no macarena, no conga, and a huge heck no to anything with profanity... I am sure I have a million more to say no to.

My friends and I have a tradition with Shout, so that shall be played lol... and I DEFINITELY need to have the Cupid Shuffle! I loveeeeeeee it!

and I love Michael Jackson, just don't need an overload at my wedding.

I will say that one married knottie had Michael Buble and Norah Jones on her do not play list and it made me giggle!

Well the only cheesy song I had played at mine was about 30 second of the chicken dance (but that was a surprise in the middle of the father/daughter dance). But I didn't want any of those typical group dance songs played. And of course my freakin' mother started a conga line! I refused to join in!

Natalie97, your "no" list is totally my "yes" list! (Well, at least the last 2 lines). All I really want is hip hop, and I'm having a hard time trying to think of non hip hop music, because I know that some of the guests might want some...but truthfully, if I didn't have to think about my guests, it'd all be Black Eyed Peas and Soulja Boy!

i guess im the odd ball out.. LOL.. I love cheesy! LOL... i know it sounds dumb but thas when the most ppl get up to actually dance... I probably would just stay away from Michael Jackson and Madonna....I like them but not for wedding music stuff...FI also said no Pit bull.. but i might sneak him in cause i think his songs are fun lol... but my fams latin so we will probably just be playing a lot of spanish music

I'm all for the cheesy! However, my biggest thing....NO country. That's my #1 no. Other than that, I'm game for anything. I just want to have fun!

I havent thought of this... I am going to keep a pad of paper with me at all times. If I hear something I dont want played I will       write it down.    When it comes down to making the NO play list I will be prepared....At least Ill try to do that.. <giggles>
