Getting Cups Put Into Dress?????

This is probably the stupidest question ever BUT if you get cups sewn into your dress, do you need to wear a bra too?  I didn't think so but someone I was talking to about it, said I was crazy and still need to wear a bra so I figured my knotties would know.

LOL no bra! I'm getting cups in my dress, and I'm a DD .. but I think it depends on the dress, mine had lots of support anyway (it would've been fine not to wear a bra with it). If you're wearing a bra anyway, why put the cups in?

That's what I thought but a co-worker was saying, the cups are just extra support and asked how I couldnt wear a bra.  LOL

Yea, ususally the cups replace the bra. But as PP said, it depends on the support, Im sure when you try on the dress at your fitting you will know what to do.
