Corset? Spanx? What are you wearing under your dress???

Hi Gals!
   I have my fitting when I am in town in a few weeks and they said I need to bring the shoes and undergarments that I will wear...eeek! I don't have either yet! I bought my dress at Chic Parisian in Coral Gables but they only have one kind of corset and I dont know what kind it is yet so can't be sure I'll buy that.

What kind of things are you wearing under your dress and where did you find them? My dress is very form fitting until the thighs so I def want to nip in the waist as much as possible...(maybe even suffer a bit if it can take off an inch or two) :)

ANY help appreciated!

    I don't have my dress yet, though I am hoping I don't have to wear any extra anything. I want to be able to party w/o any extra tugging & pulling.

    I'm not wearing anything since it's pretty much built into my dress... just maybe some cute bridal undies.

    I would reccommend wearing spanx.. I've worn them in the past and you can't go wrong with them!

    I'm just wearing underwear - my dress has a foundation built in...or will if FMIL actually finishes it.

    I'd suggest buying a few different corsets. Just keep the tags on and bring them all to the fitting to see which one you think will work best. Return the others.

    I'm wearing Spanx Skinny Britches high-waisted shorts.  I LOVE them!  My dress is fitted and this works wonders!  They are very thin so it won't add bulk but they do the job.  Here is the website:

    Nothing! But not to mean but I told my mom she should get some spanx for her dress.. I said it nicely I swear.

      I still haven't decided on whats going under the dress, but I'm curious to see what others say.

    I bought a corset from Bra Boutique in Coral Springs.  Well worth it, cuter than Spanx, did its job very nicely.  Couldn't eat heaps, but I hardly had time to eat anyhow!

    There is a cute VS corset I'm looking at- I've been trying on dresses with a corset and starting to think I'm going to definitely want one so I don't have to think about sucking in the whole day :)

    I have no experience with Spanx

    I wore spanx and chicken cutlets that have adhesive on them.  My dress was fitted, so I had to go with that.  It let me breathe and eat without being in pain.  That was important to me.

    I have both spanx and a corset with undies, but I haven't decided which I'll go with yet. Whichever sucks in the most I guess. Lol.
