Lots of Checks! BM dresses, cakes, & shower!

I flew down to Florida last Monday and was down there all week checking more things off my list

~Got bridesmaid Dresses at Lilly Pulitzer (one of my BMs works there so we got them 40% off too! ahhhh!!)

~Got my dress and shoes for my shower (pics are on FB)

~PIcked out our baker and cake design! We're going with Johnson's Custom Cakes in Wellington. I am severely lactose intolerant (like can't even use a pan that had butter in it at one point...ugh), so we had to find a baker that could make a cake without lactose. Jennifer Johnson (the same name as my planner, but not the same person ), worked the night before to make us an entire 3 layer cake to taste that was completely lactose free. It was AMAZING! No one will know that it's any different than a full-lactose cake She did wonders with Earth Balance Margarine and Lactaid Milk It also has lower calories too, not that that really matters unless you ate 3 huge slices like I did. The fillings she makes are wonderful!

We will be getting a four tiered round cake with fondant covering the buttercream. Two layers will be rum cake with pineapple filling, one will be vanilla with key lime curd filling, and the other vanilla with strawberry filling. The bottom of each tier will be banded with a 4-row rhinestone banding. The cake topper will be a piece of white coral that we bought at Z-Gallerie

~My bridal shower! My shower was on Saturday at Season's 52 in North Palm Beach. Loveddd it! It was perfect! Definitely recommend going there for lunch, or any other type of event like a shower or RD.
