Any suggestions on RSVP wording?

I know many people write something like “We have 2 seats reserved in your honor”  ____ will be attending   ____ will not attend.

But leaving it open sometimes causes trouble.
Any specific suggestions? Finalizing wording with the company now. YEAH!

I think it would be fine like that... So far I haven't had any issues of people trying to add more people and we didn't even do the "x" amount of seats are reserved in your honor.

Key word of course is YET.

I like putting the 2 seats have been reserved in your honor because it tells them how many seats you have saved.  However, I have some couples that i am hoping don't bring their 4 kids, but they might have to because they are coming from out of town.

I like how Alissa's rsvp is, but if you are worried about the # of people just fill in the number where she has the slot for it.

I didnt put anything on ours except "The favour of your reply is requested before March Thirteenth."

I left it totally open and if anyone writes that they are bringing more than was on the invitation then they'll be getting a stern phone call. It is etiquette that whoever is on the envelope is invited, no if ands or buts about it!

Since I don't have an inner envelope people wouldn't know if their kids are invited unless we told them, so I did the: "We have reserved __ seats in your honor" and then

    ___ Accept with pleasure
    ___ Decline with regret

    HTHs!
