    I don't think they look bad at all!  (And my old apt. in Coral Gables is located on your map!)

    If you want to try something different - just to eliminate other options - you could put some more white space along the edges (so the map is in the middle of it) and write "Directions to the Reception" or something on the top in a font similar to the font on your invites...

    But I think your map works really well and makes it really easy to find :)

    Maybe just add one of these N,S,E,W  compass to a corner.

    There is a website that lets you make your own maps... a bunch of girls used it last year.. I just don't remember what it was.... have u tried google map maker too?

    Otherwise, the map you have is fine.. I do agree with adding the compass though.
