Marriott Key Largo opinions...

So, I'm new to this board... I'm cancelling my Chicago wedding and heading to Florida for a small destination wedding...

I really liked the idea of the Marriott Key Largo, since it looks beautiful, isn't too expensive, and they have prepackaged deals for ceremonies and such.

What are your thoughts?  Know anyone that's gotten married there or stayed there?
Is there stuff to do in the Key Largo area (I've never been there)-- like decent restaurants and stuff???

I was also looking into the Mariners Resort Villas and Marina, and Casa Ybel in Sanibel Island...So any opinions on those are welcome as well...

I got the idea to look at the Marriott Key Largo due to a few lovely knotties on here who recommended it to me... So thanks!!!   I appreciate your thoughts!

Hey, I've never been to a wedding at the Marriot Key Largo, but I did go check it out when I was venue shopping for my wedding... IMO, I thought it was very over - priced for what they were offering. To me, the place looked really delapedated and run - down, and at $100pp, not worth my money.

But you should check it out for yourself, maybe you can talk them down, I know for a fact their business is way down, you might get everything you want with them.
