I am working on ordering mine as we speak.  Someone recommended theamericanwedding.com    I found what I think looks simple and elegant (some of them on that site look horrible.)  I have the invites, envelopes, response card with printed envelope, and reception card all in my shopping cart and it shows a total of $280 which is incredible.  They look similar to one of the William Arthur designs we were going to select at $700 for the set.  I just feel nervous placing this order (don't have time for a sample) and crossing my fingers they don't look cheap when I get them.  If anyone has used this site would love to know their thoughts.

I am ordering mine from 123print.com. I am getting 75 of the black damask for $37.95 + $7 for the thicker paper. The matching RSVP cards 75 for $25.95 and the envelopes for both the invite and RSVP cards are free. The total for just that is $63.90 before taxes and s&h. But they come all printed and ready to go. I am also ordering address labels with my & FI names on them for when we send out the invites, as well as momogramed sticker labels to put on the back of the invite envelope. The address labels are also black damask design and you get a sheet of 150 for $10. I got my STD's from them and they came out great!!! Also you can get online coupons from retailmenot. com. HTH!!!!

I DIY and spent under $100 for about 50 invites, and that includes, cardstock, ink, envelopes, pocketfolds, and ribbon. I designed and assembled them myself, and printed them at work.

I used theamericanwedding.com. They were super affordable and I loved them. They came out cheaper than DIYing them.

I bought mine from Michaels as well! I sent around 140 invitations and printed them from my computer.

Invites (originally $40 for a box of 40 but used 40% coupons on each box): $24 each box x 4 boxes = $96 for 160 invites
Ink: $35 for two (barely used the 2nd one)
Stamps: .44 x 2 per invite (one for envelope and one for the rsvp envelope) x 140: $123.20

    TOTAL:
    $131 for invites & Ink
$254.20 for invites, ink, and stamps

I even printed the addresses on my invitation envelopes and rsvp envelopes and had ink to spare!

Tip: I printed both my address and their address ont he RSVP envelopes so even if they didn't put their name on the RSVP, I knew who it was from!

I used theamericanwedding.com! I was super happy with the results! It was $240 for 125 invites, reception cards, RSVP cards, plus all envelopes and return addresses. I highly reconmmend them for those order 75 plus invites...the more you order the cheaper per invite. :)

I know Deembee is cheap but i personally did not like what she came up for me...
I ended up DYI and it was about $100 for about 25 so it was alot but i spurlged a little since i had so little to do..
I do suggest Michaels (seen a few from there that are really nice) and you can try office max and office depot they got some too
Also you can try designing it and ordering it at Vista Print (im doing this with the menus) or you can try 123print.com

    GL!!! :)

I bought my invitations at michaels.  was going to DIY the printing, but a close friend of FI works at a printing shop and offered to do them with thermo/raised printing at cost, no labor fee for us! So i might just end up doing that ;) but I think i spend about $40 on the invitations.
