Hi Ladies,
I am officially married. The wedding was phenomenal, truly amazing. I couldn't have asked for anything better. The morning of the wedding I woke up early and drove to my parents house where the crew was already setting up (it was 7am) and it started pouring lol. I honestly did not care, i was like Oh Well, what am i gonna do... The wind was crazy knocking over the super heavy candelabras centerpieces. But then the rain stopped and the wind dissapeared. The weather was PERFECT!!! My mom said its better to have it happen at 7am then 7pm so that was true. At around 3:30pm is when i started to get nervous so my peeps started feeding me drinks lol and i was very calm. You guys can see my wedding pics on my facebook profile ...Here go my reviews.
Makeup & Hair (Lutz) - A+++ Lutz is amazing, he is the picaso of makeup and hair. I love him so much, we had a blast before, and during the wedding. He did my hair and make up and my mom's make up.
Makeup (Claudia) - A+++ Claudia was so sweet, god bless her heart. She did an amazing job on all of my girls. They all loved her and highly recommend her.
Band (Miller Road) - A+++ OMG!!! Best money ever spent!!! At first i was so worried of how people would react to having an alternative rock band (they planed Phoenix, Green Day, Aha, Madonna - all cover songs) but they ended up being the biggest hit! They were so amazing!!! They were supposed to play from 6:30 - 8:00pm and they ended up playing until almost 10pm lol... The crowd was LOVING it... You'll see the pics on fb.
DJ Ubi - A+++ Right on point with everything!!! I had the Dj during cocktail hour and then from 10 - 12:30am. He kept everyone on that dance floor.
Uplighting (DJ Ubi) - A+++ Wow!!!! What a difference the lighting made. I let Ubi decide for himself the color tones of the lighting and it was magical. I had an acre of land to light so he did an amazing job!!!
Dance Floor/Stage (Economy Party Rental) - C - Ughhh So mad about this. The equipment itself was fine. No issues there but the delivery was extremely late on Thursday which backed us up with stuff we had to do, but that is NOT why I gave them a "C". I gave them a C because on Thursday morning they called and asked how i was planning on paying... I said "i already paid you in FULL 2 months ago, by credit card" They said ok and then all the sudden Thursday night i check my bank account and the had CHARGED ME AGAIN!!!!! I was livid!!!!!! Especially since i was going to the bank Friday morning to withdraw every last penny so i can buy last minute stuff. Needless to say they over drafted my account! I called them and they said "Oh we thought you said to charge your card" why would i say that!!!! anyways, the money is back in my account today but i plan on sending them a bill for the over draft fee's.
Catering/Lounge Area/ Decor (Americaters) - A+++ This is a little hard for me to talk about because I highly respect the rules on this site. I have been honest of who i am with the moderators (although they've changed over time) from day one that i signed up to plan my wedding, so i will not go into any detail. As many of you know, my parents own Americaters (I DONT WORK FOR THEM) so i dont want anyone to think i am being biased in the review. But i heard nothing but amazingness from my guest. I do want to give credit to all the catering staff - they truly deserve it and worked so hard.
Flowers (Vogue Accents by Americaters) - A+++ Same issue here, so I will leave it at that. I just have to comment on my amazing bouquet that my mom personally did for me that morning. I loved it!!!
Linens (ABCover Designs) - A+++ I loved my plum linens with accent victorian lilac napkins. The color scheme was to die for. Loved it!!!!! Theyre also super easy to work with.
Candelabras (Nuage Designs) - A+++ Great experience from the begining, The candelabras were shiny and beautiful. I also got the cake table linen from them. Spectacular!
Cake (Cake Design by Edda) - A+++ Everyone loved the cake, they did such a good job!!!!! It was so beautiful!!! I did each tier a different flavor. I can not wait til my one year anniversary (top layer is red velvet) lol
Photobooth (Photobooth Stories) - A+++ AMAZEBALLS!!!!! This was sooo much fun! Everyone loved the idea. The booth was packed all 4 hours, it was awesome!!!
Photographer (InFocus Studios/Manolo Doreste) - A+++ I can not praise Manolo more... He is so fab!!! He showed me a little sneak peak at some photos from his camera and wow!!!!! He was such a joy to have around when i was getting ready, him and lutz had me at ease the entire time. He was also so awesome and kept making sure i was hydrating, eating, etc..... I love him and i cant wait to see my pics!!!
MISC:
Men's Warehouse - They gave my finacee the wrong tux (wrong color) and everyone one of the groomsmen and fathers had issues with wrong sizes. everything was fixed on time but it still sucks that they waisted our time driving there so many times.
Chic Parisien/Marchesa - They came through with fixing my dress so i am over all happy.
Sushi Roller - He was awesome, i hired him from a restaurant and he rolled fresh sushi during cocktail hour. The guest loved it.
Cigars - I forgot the name of the place but it's off US1 and Sunset (by sunset place) they have my hubby a 15& discount on the total bill.
Costco/Liquor - Super easy to return unopened bottles. I had lost 1 of my receipts so they just gave me a gift card for that one purchase. They didnt even hesitate.
I really hope i am not forgetting any vendors.... My wedding was truly a dream. I am so happy with every decision and penny i spent. I wouldnt do anything different...
