Yep :)  But then it gets better, then more stressful when you get close - but then you will end up with a beautiful wedding!

I'm in the earlier stages of planning too, but the stress there will ease up once you get a little organized or have an idea what you want.  Personally, I like lists.  I have a wedding to do list that I keep in my purse, and when I have a couple minutes of down time during the day, I try to get at least one thing done.  And I printed out a calendar to write in all of my vendor appointments, and it has been a lifesaver.

Hang in there!  And always remember you can vent to us :)  We all get it.

Hi and welcome to the board.  It does get stressful and it can become a full-time job. In the beginning I felt the same way.
My best advice would be to give yourself a task(s) to do each week. Dont try and research everything at once.  Try and work with the most important vendors/items first and worry about the small things later.

Dont let yourself be bogged down.  There is life outside of wedding planning and after the planning.

It does get better. I think I only stressed out about the Photographer and Venue, the two most important things to me. Everything else will fall into place.

Don't worry it gets better as the planning process goes. I've been planning for 8 months and got all my big vendors out of the way and working on small ones. I think the most stressful times are the beginning and the end :)

My wedding planner book has been my LIFESAVER! I was so overwhelmed at first (I'm planning mine in 5 short months) so once I had a guide to get me through what needed to be done at each step of the process, I started to breathe a little. Happy planning!

Yes, and everyone seems to tell me their opinion even if I don't ask for it!

Once you get your big checks in the stress dies down. I tried to get all my checks done as soon as possible.

But I agree you cant stop thinking about the wedding. Plus everyone who speaks to you wont stop talking about it to you. Which gets really old.

We've all gone thru the same especially listening to everyone's opinions ... annoying I know! However, just make a list like pp mentioned and take one thinig at a time.
