Hi ladies! So for all of my panicking earlier I think I reached an epiphany. I do NOT want my wedding to be some elaborate and really expensive event. As pretty as that'd be I can't reason spending that much money and I don't think that's what I'd really want. (It's never been what my FI wanted but he was willing to do whatever made me happy.) So we're probably holding our ceremony at a park (thinking Matheson Hammock possibly) and having the reception at my parent's house in their backyard. I'm also seriously considering changing our wedding date from late summer 2012 to 11/12/11. I know everyone and their mother is having their wedding 11/11/11. (I could care less about that, in fact I'm a bit OCD and like even numbers. But I liked 11/12/11 because it's sort of symetrical and at least the day was an even number. And it'd be less time being engaged and getting married sooner, which I've always wanted.) So if we do move the date up I'm concerned about findind vendors (namely a photographer) that'd be available for us. The 3 photographers I was deciding between with our 2012 dates are all booked that weekend. (I know I want photography at the ceremony but since the reception would be very low key we wouldn't need a ton of "coverage" during the reception, I don't know if that makes a difference or not though.) Do you wounderful and amazing ladies have any ideas for me?
