Cardbox/Gift table?

Are you having one? I think I might need a card box which I think I would put on the same table as the guest book. Is that the norm? I can't remember where the cardbox goes, though I have seen them at weddings in the past.

And where would you put this gift table? My wedding and reception will be outdoor at a park so I'm having a hard time trying to figure out where it should go.
