Is June too too hot for outside reception?

I really love a few reception sites, but they really don't have any indoor space, so it would have to be ALL outdoors. Is June too hot for this? I've gone blank and can't remember how hot and humid it is during this time!! I really don't want to be a sweaty bridal mess!!

    It is pretty hot & humid during June...but maybe if you get a tent, it will provide respite from the heat. You could even look into putting fans in the tents. Or starting everything a little later on in the day so it's not scorching when guests (and YOU!) are moving about.

    My wedding will be in May, which means it may be sweltering, or rainy...or both - so I understand your concern! Cool

    It is very hot and humid in June. Not to mention it pours! I knew someone got married in the very first days of June and it poured on her wedding day. Instead of her hair being down like she wanted she had to have it all picked up. Not to mention the mission she went through to not get her dress dirty.

    Yes. Don't do it. If you want a June wedding, do it indoors. If you want an outdoor wedding, do it in January. You'll hate it, your guests will curse you under their breath, and everyone will be a sweaty, hot mess.

    I also agree that June is too hot. Remember your dress will be a sauna during those hot days. If you want a June date, then try looking at indoor venues.
