I just bought my favorite item EVER...its the MINT floor cleaner. It automatically cleans your floor, either wet or dry. And the best part is that you can use a swiffer wet cleaning pad instead of the pads they give you with the machine. My dogs are terrified of it, but they can deal! Definitely something to consider putting on your registry! Just thought I would share 
I was using it all over my house last night and can't wait to get home to use it a little more (its so sad what I look forward to these days...)
